Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - It's back to school time and if the thought of driving back and forth to the grocery store is driving you crazy then you need to streamline school lunches with my DIY lunch board. Your little ones will learn to pack a well-balanced lunch, while you get a one stop shopping list.
Here's what you do:
Cover a zinc metal board in fabric, then use scrapbooking letters and tape to make the chart. Let the kids make their own food magnets to represent a different type of sandwich, fruit vegetable and snack. Just let your children fill in their lunch choices for the week, and you've got their lunch shopping list all in one place!
Now as the kids head back to school, you're organized, prepared and can keep your cool. For more great tips from Carla Hall and the rest of the Chew crew catch ABC's the Chew weekdays at 1pm on WOTV 4 Women.
The winning school is announced in the Salvation Army Kettle Creation Contest.
