Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - Carla Hall from ABC's "The Chew", loves rescuing recipes and is all about using what you've got! If your kids are heading back to school and are a little too old for a lunchbox this year repurpose it to make a beautiful family recipe box.
This is all you have to do.
Remove the handle with a flathead screwdriver.
Next trace and cut the perimeter of the box on decorative cardstock and glue or tape it to the side.
Then cut a piece of Balso wood to be slightly larger than the length of the lunch box to create a divider.
Lastly, just write your recipes on some beautiful cardstock.
Now you have a way to save and share family recipes and memories for years to come.
