Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) -

Create holiday traditions from an early age!  We love the holiday season and it's fun to expose your baby to the joy of the season.  Here's some simple ways to create new traditions.

Buy your child a new ornament every year that reflects a special meaning.

Give the gift of new pajamas to wear for Christmas morning and take a special picture under the tree in their jammies.  They can compare the photos every year to see how they've grown.

Create an annual pancake breakfast for Christmas morning.  Use metal cookie cutters to make holiday shaped pancakes your kids will love.

Start a holiday scrapbook and include mementos like Christmas cards, letters to santa and those Christmas lists.
