Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - Whipping up healthy, homemade meals can be quick and easy if all of your most commonly used tools are at your fingertips.

Use the space under your wall cabinets to install a utensil rail . Magnets on the rail offer a safe place to store your knives and hooks will hold things like your measuring cups and spoons, scissors, vegetable peeler, strainer and the all important pizza cutter!

Step 1- Determine where in your kitchen you do most of your food preparation; the slicing, dicing and chopping that has available vertical real estate nearby, like a wall or backsplash.

Step 2- Figure out which size utensil rail best fits the length of your space: 15.75", 21.7", 23.6", 31.5", 35.4" and 39.4". The rail will affix to the wall in two places with screws. Order here.

Step 3- Decide what tools you need at arm's reach and order the hooks or magentas (for knives) here , that will fit the space on your rail.

Step 4- When your supplies arrive, all you will need to install your new rail system is a drill, screwdriver, level  and a tape measure. Directions, a drilling template and anchor are included in the kit.

Step 5- Install your new rail, hooks and magnets then attach your tools.

Now you are ready to prepare healthy, whole foods much more quickly and efficiently in the kitchen.

From our kitchen to yours, in good health!
