Autumn Spiced Green Smoothie
(Makes 2 cups)
1C Almond milk
6 Kale leaves, medium size
1 Banana, frozen
1/2 C Yams, raw and chopped
1 T Hemp oil
2 T Honey, raw
1" Ginger root
2 T Pumpkin seeds
1 t Cinnamon
1/4 t Allspice
1/4 t Nutmeg
1/4 t Cloves
1/8 C Sprouts
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and top with Walnut Raison Crunch Topping.
Walnut Raison Crunch Topping
(Makes 1 cup)
1 C Walnuts, raw
1/2 C Raisons
1 t Cinnamon
Place all ingredients in a food processor fitted with the chopping blade. Pulse until a crumbly consistency. Use to top smoothies, desserts and sweet breakfast dishes. Will store in refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
