Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - If one of your New Year resolutions is making time for a healthy breakfast, check out this banana peanut butter smoothie. Kids will ALWAYs make time for a little “Monkey Business”. It’s one of our family favorites, and we think you will like it too.

Remember it’s easiest to peel a banana from the bottom, the way most primates do. Just pinch and peel. No strings attached!

“Monkey Business”-Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie
(V/GF)
Makes 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients:
1 C Milk, plant-based (almond, rice, coconut or soy)
1 Banana
1 T Peanut butter
2 T Protein powder, plant-based
2 T Coconut, dried
2 T Maple syrup
1 T Flax oil
1 t Vanilla extract
1/8 c Sprouts
5 Ice cubes
1 T Cocoa powder, unsweetened (optional)

Preparation:
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until creamy.
