Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - Juicing citrus can be more efficient by following these easy tips:

• A room temperature piece of fruit will release more juice than a cold one.
• Rolling it firmly between your palm and counter top crushes the inner membranes causing the fruit to release more liquid.
• After cutting it into halves, use a fork as a lever in all directions while gently squeezing to get the most juice from each half.
• Lastly, use a rasp-style grater to gather zest and freeze for later use. Why toss perfectly good zest?

Happy juicing!
