Grand Rapids Mich.,(WOTV) - If you're an avid watcher of this season's "The Bachelor" show, it's because either you love the thought of finding true love, secretly enjoy the chaotic drama, or you possess a guilty pleasure of watching 25 women seek out the rarely found true love on reality television. Which ever it may be, you're like millions of viewers all across the country tuning in this season on Monday nights. And this Monday, the women are definitely heating up the screen with the "Women Tell All" episode.
This season has had it's share of drama unlike any other season. We've watched a contestant and producer get fired for indulging in "intimate behavior" with each other while filming the show, and a contestant leaving for work related issues and then trying to return.
But tonight, we'll get to see all of the behind the scenes juicy details from the women themselves on the "Women Tell All". Last week, two contestants received the boot from Jake Pavelka, also kown as "The Bachelor". And I had the privilege of interviewing both Ali Fedotowsky and Gia Allemand. They spoke about living in the house with the other girls, what it's like to really fall in love on television, and how they feel watching Jake with the other girls now that they are home.
Ali (as we all know) is the bubbly blonde next door who fell in love with Jake, but was faced with a heart wrenching decision of staying on the show, or returning to her career back home. In the end, Ali chose her job over love, and stated at one point that she thought she had made the wrong decision to leave Jake. Jake, as heartbroken as he appeared, declined Ali's request to come back. When asked about how she feels now, this is what she had to say; "You know I feel like feelings are so grey; they're not really black or white. There's definitely times that I do regret it, but throughout my adult life I have consistently put my career first, and not put love first. Then I think maybe that's why I'm single. When I saw Jake at "The Women Tell All", you know, I felt a lot of regret. It was sad. And then sometimes when I'm sitting at my desk at work I think, "Oh, I love this job, I made the right choice." "If I had to choose between love and work again, I might choose love. I think I really need to start focusing on that more"
Now that Ali is home watching the show, I asked her how it feels to be watching some of the hometown dates. For instance; when Jake asked Tenley's dad for his blessing if he decided to marry her. How do you feel when you see something like that?
"Well, it's really hard. I mean I know he asked my mom and my dad the same question, and I felt really special after that. So I guess to hear him ask another person, it's a little hard to hear. Even my mom and dad were kind of like; "We thought we were special".
Ali had a rough time in the house with one girl in particular, Vienna. When asked about some of the backstabbing that Vienna did, Ali mentioned that "Vienna says things, and I think maybe it was because she felt that -Oh if I say something about someone, like a girl in the house, maybe people will want to listen to me more. Like if I gossip, people will listen."
But even though Ali and Vienna have had their share of differences, Ali said; "Her heart does go out to Vienna, especially right now, because she's just being slammed in the media and she doesn't deserve that."
As far as all of the buzz going around that says that Ali is going to be the next "Bachelorette" she says "I'm flattered and I feel great that people think that ABC would consider me for such a wonderful opportunity."
The next bachelorette, Gia, also known as the stunning swimsuit model, spoke on why she wasn't able to tell Jake that she was falling in love with him. "I do regret that. I wish I would have said what I thought about him. I said it to everyone else but him. I guess I was just scared in the situation to come out and say it. I just kept holding off, and hoping I could just get it out, and I didn't."
Vienna, one of the last two girls in the competition did have a friend in Gia. Gia said that "Yes, I would like to stay friends with her. I really got to know her as a person, and I like everything about her." But when Vienna got a rose and Gia didnt, feelings became mixed. "Like I was shocked" said Gia. But she also says out of the last two standing..."Vienna seems more like she's ready to go for the plunge, and get married. Tenley, I feel is still heartbroken" (about her ex).
Half the world is rooting for Tenley, and the other half for
Vienna! It's definitely the Olympics of reality television! Tune in
Monday night on "The Women Tell All" at 8pm on MY ABC WOTV 4!
