Eliminated Bachelor Craig Robinson

One of the nicest guys that I have had the opportunity to interview from the “Bachelorette” is the recently eliminated attorney, Craig Robinson.

This was one of those interviews where I felt that the eliminated bachelor was truly speaking from his heart.  Craig talked about the credibility of the show, his feelings for Ali, the Justin scandal, and love after the show.

This seasons Bachelorette; Ali Fedotowsky shocked viewers on episode 6 by stating that she did not need time to deliberate her decision, and was ready for the elimination.  After the rose ceremony, Craig along with Justin were sent packing.

When asked if he was upset about the quick elimination, Craig said; “It hurts, but I respected the decision if she had made her mind up.  I respected the fact that she didn’t make me try to convince her if she had already made up her mind.”

I have always wondered if the eliminated suitors were surprised when they didn’t receive a rose, and Craig assured me, “I actually didn’t know that I was going to go home.  You just base it on the interactions with the guys, not necessarily the dates with Ali.  But until I actually got to see the other dates she went on, I didn’t know I was going home.

The genuinely kind Craig never spoke an ill word about anyone, not even the cheating Justin.  “My thoughts are that he’s obviously an entertainer, and his main purpose in going on the show was for publicity.”

Finding true love on a reality show is well, not the ideal place for many.  Take a look through the history of the Bachelor and Bachelorette, the seemingly happily ever after couples, are no longer happy.  It does pose the question, how credible is the show, and is it really possible to find love on television.  Honestly and openly Craig said;

"I would not have come on this show had I not believed there was an actual chance for me to find love," he says. "The track record, obviously, it is pretty evident. I think two people have gotten married and the third are still together: Jillian and Ed are still together. I think that proves it does work. Not in every instance, but it is not your typical, run-of-the-mill way to find love."

Wondering how Craig’s love life has spiced up since the show?  “It’s actually been funny.” He modestly admits.  “I’ve gotten an overwhelmingly positive response since.  My inbox at work is flooded with emails, and I just received flowers delivered at work from six random fans in Missouri.  The card read: Ali made a mistake.”

Craig hasn’t been able to date until this week, but with his modest approach and sincere demeanor, I’m certain that he won’t be a bachelor for long.
