Gowns To Be Auctioned Off At Charity Runway Show

Fashion, and charity, who wouldn’t love it? This weekend you can experience both, with Portraits in Time Runway Fashion Show, which is to benefit the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Program.

Live models will heat up the runway in an evening of fun and fashion to help raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer. Local designer Sopheap Hettinga has designed stunning bridal and evening attire which will be auctioned off. The evening will be lit with live music, hors d’ oeuvres, champagne and a silent auction featuring the beautiful Robert Toner fashion dolls.

The evening kicks off at 6:30pm on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the St. Cecilia Music Center in the Dexter Ballroom located at 24 Ransom Ave. NE downtown Grand Rapids.

One hundred percent of the funds raised at the event will remain within the local community, helping the children and families who depend on Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital for life saving care.
