Grand Rapids, Mich., (WOTV) - Even though there's snow on the ground, things got heated up last Friday at the FRAYED Spring Break and VIP After party in Kalamazoo!  This was an event that you would not want to miss!  We received messages and posts on Facebook begging for tickets to the hottest party of the season.  We gave tickets away on eightWest, and when all was said and done, the VIP Party bus was packed and ready to go!

The Face of 4 and 50 friends, including some of the top 20 contestants from the Face of 4 competition loaded onto the Dadd's Magic bus which was decorated in a spring break theme.  Once on the bus, we each put on a festive lei and indulged in a superb dinner provided by my favorite; Subway!   Once we  arrived at FRAYED, it was hillarious watching the obvious shopaholics run in!  Watching the Frayed shoppers was like watching a stampede of hungry men looking at the last piece of steak!  Everyone began "power shopping" and running through the racks of trends and  great prices.  It was too tempting to resist with the additional 20% off coupons that were handed out!  So while we shopped and enjoyed Subway and cocktails, the models changed in the latest spring fashions for the runway show.

As soon as the music shook the room, I ran out on the runway to emcee the event.  Big hats, big sunglasses, summer dresses, and bermuda shorts were all the rave!  Seriously, the models looked like professionals that we had stolen off the cover of Elle and Marie Claire!

The fun continued through intermission when we gave away some of the coolest prizes!  We gave away a digital pocket picture frame, GPS, several gift cards, and suite tickets to see the John Mayor concert at the Van Andel Arena next Sunday!

When the fabulous fashion show concluded, we all loaded onto the bus for the second half of the exciting night....It was off to the "Bull"!  One of the hottest night spots in Kalamazoo, The Wild Bull!

With a name like "Wild Bull", its no surprise that a mechanical bull stands in the center of the club.  There was an obvious burning desire to ride the bull, but no one wanted to go first!  So, of course, with no instigation from my boss (I'm so kidding-it was all his idea), I was the first one to jump on!  It was my first time ever riding a mechanical bull, so I was a little worried about getting thrown off.  But as it appeared, I LOVED it!  It was so much fun, and liberating, and made me laugh uncontrollably!  So after getting thrown off the first time, I had to jump right back on and try again.  A motto I seem to live by.

After my first few times on the bull, it seemed to get easier, and definitely more fun!  More of the party decided to jump on the bull-I guess they could see how much fun it was!  Some performed solo, while others decided to opt for a duet-which was always interesting!  Some performed the "bull" duet with a friend, while others decided to risk the ride with an unfamiliar face!

While the bull riding continued, we also danced the night away on the brightly lit dance floor until the wee hours of the morning.

I have to say, I knew that the night was going to be fun, but I had no idea how hard West Michigan can party!  And that's NO BULL!
