Subway is now offering a leaner way to start you day, with their new Western Egg and Cheese Muffin. This morning as I had the opportunity to taste on of the new breakfast menu items for the "Fresh Start SUBWAY breakfast"!

I decided to try something that was on the healthy side, and the Western Egg and Cheese Muffin was a perfect choice! It not only gave me the fuel that my body needed, but it gave me a lighter and more healthy option.

The new Western Egg and Cheese Muffin can be made with egg whites, cheese, and a light whole-wheat English muffin! If your trying to stay health concious, then this is the perfect choice for you! With only 4 grams of fat, the new breakfast muffin contains less than 180 calories! I was also able to customize my breakfast by adding peppers, tomatos, jalapenos, and SUBWAY'S signature sweet onion suace.

I decided to go with egg whites, cheese, green peppers, and a whole-wheat English muffin. The fist bite had an immediate impact of gooey melted cheese, and hearty egg whites. A unique taste came from the green peppers that I added, which gave my sandwich just the right amount of flavorful kick. The whole-wheat muffin added the perfect combination of great flavor that anyone would love.

For a breakfast that's light on your wallet ($1.25-$2.25) and your waistline, the Western Egg and Cheese Muffin from Subway is the perfect way to start your day! It's customizable so you can add your favorite veggies and condiments, while giving you the fuel that you need to start your day! Two thumbs up for SUBWAY breakfast...the healthy way.
