Tricks to help your cat stay hydrated

The West Michigan weather is heating up, and even if your pet is an indoor pet, it is important to keep them hydrated throughout the summer months.

To get cats to drink more water-add small amounts of tuna water/chicken stock to their water bowls.You can also feed your cat canned food (sometimes with additional water added to it). Circulating water fountains are inexpensive, keeps water clean, and cats enjoy the running water option.
