1st Annual Cattle Barron's Pre-Party Stampedes into GR!

Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - There's nothing like a good rodeo party with fun, food, and music to raise money for a great cause. And this year, the Cattle Baron's Ball will be even bigger with the Stampede Pre-Party raising money for the American Cancer Society! The B.O.B will be the hot spot in Grand Rapids on August 11th as I serve as host of the pre-party with tons of activities and entertainment all with the Cattle Baron western theme.

The 2011 Stampede, a pre-party fundraising event for Cattle Baron’s Ball (formerly known as the Late Night Party), will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 at The B.O.B. in Eve located downtown Grand Rapids, featuring:

• Dancing to national celebrity DJ Rekka from 9 p.m. until after midnight

• Guest opener DJ Todd Ernst from 7 to 9 p.m. for VIP ticket holders

• Bull riding competition in Crush. $2 minimum donation. Win the “big buckle!”

• Big Dallas Hair competition

• Best dressed contest. Put on ‘yer best duds for the Best Dressed Cowgirl and
Cowboy contest. Winners will receive prizes donated by local retailers

• Raffle

• Door prizes

• Featured specialty drink

• Dinner discounts available in some of the participating B.O.B restaurants
