Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - Studies show 3-4 million children between the ages of 3-17 are at risk of exposure to domestic violence each year. These children are more vulnerable to becoming victims of abuse themselves, have a higher risk of harm to their physical, emotional and social development and a strong likelihood of continuing the cycle of violence for the next generation. Kids need adults who will listen, believe them, stand up for them and speak out to break the silence of domestic abuse.
