GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOTV) - We’re always looking for fun things for families to do! Here are 4 fun things to do for $4 or less.
1. Explore a local nature center. Get away from the couch for a little while and get some fresh air. Nature centers can offer hiking trails, overnight adventures, and fresh produce. Best of all most offer free admission! Try the Blandford Nature Center in Grand Rapids.
2. Visit the Grand Rapids Children's Museum for Family Night. - Thursdays from 5-8 for $1.50 per person. Do activities from creating a masterpiece on the giant Lite Brite board to experimenting with magnet boards at the Funstruction table.
3. Take the family ice skating at Rosa Parks Circle for $1 through the end of March. Skates are free with photo identification. Skating starts at noon Monday through Sunday. Get more info at the city of Grand Rapids website.
4. Visit the Kalamazoo Valley Museum -great exhibits and hands-on activities—best of all it’s completely free! Between science in motion and the collection of 55, 000 artifacts, there is something fun for all ages.
