WALKER, Mich. (WOTV) - The 3 Mile Project exists for the purpose of providing a fun and safe place where young people can be encouraged in their physical, emotional, and spiritual development. The 34,000 square foot former warehouse is filled with activities teens love including sports courts, theaters, a skate park, a reball arena, video games, table games and a cafe.
The 3 Mile Project is open on Thursday evenings for 5th & 6th grade students from 6-9 p.m., Friday evenings for 7th & 8th graders from 7-10 p.m., and Saturday evenings for high school students from 7-10 p.m. The facility breaks the kids into three separate evenings, so that kids are in an age appropriate environment and so attendance can be controlled more easily.
All visitors to the 3 Mile Project must complete a one-time registration at the time of their first visit. Registered visitors will receive a membership card which will provide them access to the facility. The registration form can be found and printed out here.
The 3 Mile Project is located at:
3050 Walkent Dr. NW
Grand Rapids, MI 49544
