The John Ball Zoo might be closed for the winter, but that doesn't mean your kids can't still enjoy some of their animals.

The John Ball Zoo has teamed up with Frederik Meijer Gardens for Animal Adventures, a fun hands-on program for kids three years and older.  Kids can have fun exploring the survival techniques of rabbits, owls and turtles and enjoy live animal presentations.  The program also includes a variety of activities, games, art projects and interactive stories about animals.

This program is being offered on Monday, January 28 at 7pm or Saturday, February 2 at 10am.  The cost is only $5 for John Ball Zoo members and $7 for non-members.  To register for the program call Frederik Meijer Gardens at 616-974-5239.
