Climb aboard the Silver Beach Carousel

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. (WOTV) - The horses, the tigers, the hippopotamus, the panda, the clown fish – in all, 48 unique carousel figures and two chariots whirl with excitement. Come pick your favorite and ride the Silver Beach Carousel under 1000 twinkling lights. Each figure is beautifully hand-carved and hand-painted by artisans and soar and dip to organ music.

You’ll find all the magic and wonder of the Silver Beach Carousel below the bluff in St. Joseph, just yards from Lake Michigan’s Silver Beach, named one of the top 10 family beaches by Parents magazine. Open all four seasons, you can ride a different carousel figure or chariot every week and fill the year with a new memory each time.

Every Thursday evening from 4-8:30 p.m. is Family Fun Night at the Silver Beach Carousel. There are new activities offered each week including games, make-and-take arts and crafts and of course carousel rides for only $1! Upcoming themes for Family Fun Night are as follows:
