Creature Coverings
January 8 from 10-11:30am
For Kindergarten through 2nd graders
Watch a live animal presentation courtesy of the Organization for Bat Conservation! The Organization for Bat Conservation's animals have been featured on The Tonight Show, National Geographic and Martha Stewart! This unique and educational program will engage children through hands-on participation. Kids will learn how animals are classified by body coverings, and find out the differences between mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians!
Animal Adaptations
January 8 from 1-2:30pm
For 3rd through 6th graders
Kids will discover the fascinating features and adaptations of Michigan's native nocturnal animals with a live presentation by the Organization for Bat Conservation! We will talk about what adaptations are, how they are formed and why animals need these tools to survive!
