Juggling teaching and triplets

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Over the years, Maranda has had the pleasure of working with hundreds of children and watching them grow-up and head into the career world.  Recently, she reconnected with Kris DeYoung, one of the children who co-stared with her as a reporter on "Fast Forward." 

Kris is now busy teaching at Rockford High School and juggling four children under the age of three, which includes triplet boys. Imagine getting up at 4:45 a.m. each morning to start your routine, making 24 bottles each day, or polishing off a box of diapers in the blink of an eye!  That's what life is like for the DeYoung family.

With an interest in film and video, Kris loves to capture the memories and milestones of his children on tape.  Kris, dubbed as "Daddy D" and his wife Leanne, will be a regularly featured guests on "Maranda Where You Live" giving us a glimpse into how they manage to do it all and stay sane.
