GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) - What child doesn't like to be silly and play dress-up? Our friends at Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids had the clever idea of building a dress-up box on a budget. What better place to build one that at a Goodwill store near you!

First, hunt for a creative container to hold the contents of your dress-up box. Goodwill offers inexpensive items like bushel baskets or hampers for as little as $0.99. Next, fill the basket with items like dresses, skirts, high heels, purses, hats and scarves. For little boys, Goodwill has items like suit coats and ties. Best of all, you can get all of these items for under $5.00, so it's not expensive to make.

Playing dress-up is a great way for your child to use his or her imagination and it fosters creativity. To locate a Goodwill store near you visit their website at www.goodwillgr.org.
