INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (WOTV) - The Dallara IndyCar Factory is located just 1/3 of a mile from the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indianapolis 500 and just five miles from downtown Indianapolis. The Dallara IndyCar Factory is a race-enthusiasts destination that offers 23,000 square feet of interactive exhibits centered around the world's fastest sport!
Highlights for visitors include:
-A tunnel filled with the current IndyCar's blueprints and design concept drawings
-A theater to catch up on the past, present and future of racing
-Factory tours where visitors have the opportunity to witness IndyCar chassis being made and produced
-Racing box cart simulators equipped with iRacing
If you're in the mood for an adrenaline rush, strap on a helmet and slip into the Street-Legal IndyCar 2 Seater and race past the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The car is the first of its kind to ever run on city streets just like a regular car.
The Dallara IndyCar Factory is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Children four years old and under are free.
