GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) - Each year, the Fifth Third River Bank Run committee, selects 10 individuals as Road Warriors. These 10 runners all come from different running backgrounds, have various skill levels and incredible stories of inspiration.

Meet Eric Page. At 6'7" and 285 pounds, Eric isn't your typical runner. Eric signed up for his first 25k five years ago and was up for the challenge. Having only ran five miles at the most back in his college football days, Eric knew he had a long road ahead of him, but was excited to commit to the training and a healthier lifestyle.

Five years later, Eric is now training for his fifth consecutive Fifth Third River Bank Run 25k. As part of the Road Warrior program Eric has been paired with a charity to run for. Eric is running for Paws with a Cause and hopes to raise both money and awareness for the non-profit organization.

Let learn more about Eric and how you can support his efforts, visit his blog at www.53riverbankrun.com.
