Local media personalities to heat runway for charity

Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - Want to see your favorite local media personalities put their runway skills to the test? Now’s your chance! Local radio and television personalities will hit the runway to showcase Wolverine Worldwide’s collection of footwear. Most importantly, the night is to raise funds for Heart of West Michigan United Way.

Get fired up and show your community spirit. It’s an exciting evening filled with pumped-up live entertainment of fashion, cheerleaders, marching band, and exciting auction items. Tailgate-Style snacks will be provided by Tommy Fitzgerald.

Wolverine Worldwide is embracing a long-time collaboration with Heart of West Michigan United Way with this exciting event. “We’re deeply committed to serving the needs of West Michigan through partnerships with a variety of community-focused organizations,” said Michael Hebreard, Vice President and General Manager of Harley Davidson Footwear at Wolverine Worldwide. “Our long relationship with Heart of West Michigan United Way has given us the opportunity to make a significant regional impact in a number of ways – from corporate and individual employee contributions to a variety of creative employee- and volunteer-organized events.”

It’s time to get peppy and show your community spirit. Join the ‘Pep Rally’ at 6:00 PM at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA) located at 2 West Fulton, Grand Rapids. Funds will be raised through general admission tickets, silent auction, live auction items, and a possible VIP reception.
