Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - An Oscar nominee isn't guaranteed to bring home the gold this Sunday, but they still go home a winner with these unbelievably lavish gifts. Each year celebs are showered with beautiful gifts during each award season show. This year, the celebrity bags are filled with gifts topping $47,802 worth of fab items from around the world.

It's a big expense for vendors to supply gifts to each of the stars at the suite, but it can mean for a big pay off. Companies hand out these lavish gifts with hopes of big opportunities. All it takes is for one celebrity to wear the jewelry, tweet about a cookie or cross the red carpet wearing a particular watch, and the word spreads like wildfire. That's the big break that these vendors are looking for at the gifting suites each year.

So even if a gold statue isn't awarded to a particular star this weekend, they still took home a swag bag from the suite where everyone wins!
