Grand Rapids, Mich (WOTV) - This holiday season get the kids involved in making gift wrapping paper that’s custom created for everyone on your list!

Start with a roll of butcher paper.  Cut off large sections and weigh down edges with paperweights.  Give each child magazines, glitter, stamps, paint brushes, holiday themed stencils, old holiday cards, etc.

Decide on patterns and themes for each person your list.  You can go with traditional holiday themes or customize it for each persons’ interests—princesses, fishing, sports, etc.

Let each child create several unique, one-of-kind pieces of wrapping paper. Be sure to let glitter and paint dry before wrapping each gift.
