Grand Rapids, Mich. (WOTV) - I do not relish the thought of driving to the mall at this time of year so now is when the creative DIY gifts really come in handy.  I personally love getting these types of gifts as well because of the thought and time put into them.  This bath salt recipe is quick and easy, once you gather your materials you can knock out several of these in one quick session.

Here is what you need :

Mason Jars and Lids
Epson Salts
Coarse Sea Salt
Baking Soda
Essential Oils - lavender, sweet orange, eucalyptus...be creative here
Dried Herbs - chamomile, lavender, rosemary

1 large mixing bowl, whisk and a funnel.

Bath Salts Recipe (This fills 1 250 ml mason jar)

3/4 cup Epsom salts

1/2 cup coarse sea salt

1/4 cup baking soda

8 drops essential oil

Mix all of your dried ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.  Add between 5 to 8 drops of essential oil, 2 tablespoons of your dried herbs or flowers.

Mix together so there are no lumps and package into your jars.  Its nice to add a handwritten label or make labels using stickers and your printer.
