Dr. Renee Elderkin

Renee Elderkin is a board certified OB/GYN practicing at West Michigan OB/GYN.  Her specialty is pregnancy and prenatal care. She has won the award of Doctorof the Year many times. She uses her knowledge to help women enjoy and understand their health through pregnancy.

Renee was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area.  She has been married to her husband John for 21 years. She enjoys time with her family, even if it is playing taxi driver for her 4 children.

“I have been a patient myself at West Michigan OB/GYN for 18 years, having all 4 of my children delivered by our excellent physician.”

She had a set of twins, prematurely at the age of 40 years, and also has a teenage daughter which helps her to, “realize the pressures and issues these young women face on a daily basis.”  These experiences have helped her to build relationships and understanding of her patients.
