GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) - The kids are back in school and you have a bit of breathing room before the holidays. Use this time to prepare your kitchen for seasonal festivities by purging, cleaning, organizing and stocking up your pantry for the months ahead.
First, purge the old: pantry items, especially died herbs and spices should never celebrate a birthday. Then clean out containers and cabinets, label your items and get organized.
Replenish items that are getting low and stock up on things like nuts and olives that will come in handy for a last minute appetizer. Make a list of what you need for restocking and go shopping.
You’ll be happy that you planned ahead for a stress-free holiday and celebrations.
The winning school is announced in the Salvation Army Kettle Creation Contest.
