MUSKEGON, Mich (WOTV) - The third Maranda Park Party was at Smith Ryerson Park in Muskegon . Everyone had a great time, and a big thanks goes out to the city of Muskegon for hosting! The Muskegon Sheriff's Department came out and even brought horses! Their mounted police force was trotting around the Park Party showing kids that police are approachable and friendly. The Muskegon Sheriff Department also brought their dive team and the "seatbelt convincer" that demonstrates how smart it is to wear a seatbelt.
Of course, no Maranda Park Party could happen without the help of great sponsors like Pine Rest and The West Michigan Whitecaps who brought out their huge bounce house and pitching practice. Thanks to all who came out to make the third Maranda Park Party of the summer possible!
The winning school is announced in the Salvation Army Kettle Creation Contest.
