GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOTV) - Maranda hit the streets of ArtPrize live! The theme was animals and art, and Maranda got an exclusive interview with photographer extraordinaire Joel Satore from National Geographic. He has been traveling all over the world taking fascinating pictures of animals in captivity. Two very exotic animals, a long tail weasel and a white lipped tamarin, are right at the John Ball Zoo! Joel also gives his tips to kids who aspire to be a professional photographer.
Next stop was Michael Gard, a sculptor, showing off his walking art on the streets of ArtPrize. His actual exhibit is huge, so he has pieces that are "sneak peaks" measuring in at four feet tall that can be carried around. They are exquisite pieces and Michael explains the pain-staking process of making them.
