GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOTV) - Ottawa area schools are engaging in a completely new learning experience. IChallengeU is a hands on opportunity given to students by local businesses, Haworth , Innotec , Holland Hosptial , United Way , Zeeland Farm Services , Hope College , and asks students the tough questions that their staff has trouble answering and challenges them to think outside the box.
It takes place full time for two weeks during the summer, and students give a big presentation at the end to their peers and companies they were shadowing. This is a great program because instead of sitting in a classroom, students are challenged to get out and use their problem solving skills in a real business situation.
- July 8 - 12 and 15-19 are the two weeks selected for 2013
- For students in 11 or 12 grade
