Dr. King explains that kids expressing themselves verbally can be hard, especially when it comes to understanding complex things like death. Art is a great way for kids to create when they can't find the words to say.
Maranda takes a trip to visit Jean Ellens, the art teacher at Cherry Creek. Kids are running around creating and imagining with beautiful works of art everywhere they turn. It's great for young brain development and the creativity process.
