GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOTV) - Back to school time can be hectic. Many middle school students will not be able to get the supplies they need to succeed. By donating simple items like pencils, pens, soap, socks, and spiral notebooks you can give a student the chance to start the school year off right. With the help of Meijer , Amway , Fifth Third Bank , and many other great sponsors, thousands of kids in Kent County will receive necessary school supplies.
Stuff the Bus donations will be collected at 43 Fifth Third Bank locations throughout Kent County from July 29 through August 9. Donations of money will also be accepted.
There is a special opportunity to donate to Stuff the Bus August 12 at CruiserFest at Craig's Cruisers in Wyoming, 5730 Clyde Park Ave SW. Admission to CruiserFest is $15 and one free activity pass will be provided to CruiserFest participants in exchange for each bag of Stuff the Bus supplies they bring to the event.
