Those who achieve successes in life generally take risks. Whether the risks are small or life-changing, it's inevitable that everyone experiences some sort of failure. Many people choose to turn their past adversities into strengthening and positive lessons. This is exactly what a diverse group of storytellers and entertainers are bringing together to share with the community. The Failure-Lab Performance aims to eliminate fear of failure, and encourage intelligent risk-taking by sharing stories with a live performance.
We've been inundated with motivational phrases about never giving up, listened to charismatic speakers, and have given standing ovations to accomplishments. So what happens when you totally blow it?
Failure-Lab is a live performance with storytellers sharing raw, personal failures. In a fluid format, entertainers will follow each story to bring a positive entertaining energy to the format. A one-minute interval in between stories and entertainers will allow for the audience to reflect and share via mobile device or pen and paper.
The "storytellers" represent a variety of industries and backgrounds and look forward to sharing their worst, so that each of us can find our best. An after party immediately following will allow for further engagement and conversation.
