Grand Rapids, Mich. - Up On The Roof and Ladies Night Out step up to benefit great causes in our community! See how these events are making an impact. Plus, here's where you can step up while stepping out this week!
This week our Social Sizzle cameras headed to Up On The Roof to benefit Mercy Health Saint Mary's. Over 400 people came out to benefit Music Therapy programs at Mercy Health Saint Marys. The annual event features great food, live music, a silent auction and great conversations, held on the fifth floor atrium of the Lacks Cancer Center on the Mercy Health Saint Mary's campus. This year's event helped to raise over $50,000 for the Music Therapy Programs.
The Social Charity Club of Grand Rapids also held Ladies Night Out at Celebration Cinema North to benefit Senior Neighbors. Hundreds of women came out to have a ball with food and local shopping vendors and watch The Notebook staring Ryan Gosling. The event raised nearly $1,000 to benefit Senior Neighbors.

Proceeds from the annual black-tie fundraiser will benefit Metro's award-winning diabetes program, which provides education, health care and support for those diagnosed with diabetes. Metro Health, which has been designated as a Diabetic Center of Excellence, utilizes a team approach to provide complete and high-quality care to patients struggling to manage their diabetes.
Feelin' Grand is Metro Health's annual gala that has been held since 1993 with a special beneficiary for each year. In 2012, the Foundation raised more than $400,000 to support the hospital's Child Life Program.
