Grand Rapids, Mich. - There's no need to drive to the Big Apple for a a top notch fashion show. One of the best in the Midwest is right around the corner, and is happening downtown. Red soled stilettos will stomp the catwalk while fashion lovers sip champagne under neon lights, and help raise funds for the Van Andel Institute.
The Van Andel Institute will host the eighth annual Couture for the Cure on Thursday, October 10, at 6:00 p.m. The annual event brings high fashions from Leigh's, and an exclusive look at designer, Cynthia Rose's Holiday and Spring Collection, to the runway.
This year, funds will be raised for cancer and disease research and science education at the Van Andel Education Institute.
Guests will be able to enjoy cocktails, strolling hors 'doeuvres, makeup touch-ups from Artistry, and shopping that will directly benefit the VIA. Attendees will also receive a Couture for the Cure swag bag.
