Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Van Andel Institute hosted the eighth annual Couture for the Cure on Thursday, October 10, at 6:00 p.m. The annual event brought high fashions from Leigh's, and New York designer, Cynthia Rose to the runway.
The evening event was sold out, with funds benefiting cancer and disease research, along with science education at the Van Andel Education Institute.
Guests enjoyed cocktails, strolling hors 'doeuvres, makeup touch-ups from Artistry, and shopping that will directly benefit the VIA. Attendees will also received a Couture for the Cure swag bag. See photos from the hot event below!

Maranda and her partners joined together for a special holiday celebration at Meijer for foster & refugee families with Bethany Christian Services. WOTV 4 Women along with Bethany Christian Services, Craig's Cruisers, Meijer, Fifth-Third Bank & Priority Health & other partners spent the night meeting these special families during a taping of Maranda Where You Live. The night was filled with food, entertainment and shopping with these special families.
It's the first Christmas lights competition of its kind for television! Four families will compete each week to transform their homes for the holidays for a big cash prize!
