Dr. Stephen Rechner is a board certified OB/GYN, medical and residency director and medical educator practicing at West Michigan OB/GYN and Spectrum Health residency clinic where he cares for the underserved woman in west Michigan. His special focus areas include: prenatal care and educating future providers of health care.
With his expertise he helps to improve the lives of West Michigan woman by educating future providers of health care, “I want to insure that compassion, quality care are preserved as core values in our learners.”
He has been married to his wonderful wife for over 43 years. He has 6 grand-children which include 2 sets of twins. He is a Vietnam Veteran, where he was a pilot/ aircraft commander for 7 years. With his free time he chooses to be outdoors, where he likes to fish and waterfowl hunt.
