Dr. Russel Jelsema is a medical doctor practicing at West Michigan OB/GYN. He is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist with expertise in the care of women with, or at-risk for, complicated pregnancies. He is active in professional and community organizations, and has authored numerous publications on various medical conditions. He has also received Faculty of the Year from the OB/GYN resident physicians in Grand Rapids.
Dr. Jelsema runs a twice-a-month clinic at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City and a monthly clinic at Marquette General Hospital. His greatest hope is to help women by giving them good information regarding premature birth prevention and other pregnancy issues.
Dr. Jelsema and his wife have been married for 31 wonderful years and are proud parents to three successful children.
